Yıldız Acar EBCIM, MD, FEBO
Dr. Yıldız Acar Ebcim is a board-certified ophthalmologist with extensive experience in both clinical and surgical eye care, as well as in aesthetic and functional oculoplastic procedures. She completed her medical degree at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and began her residency in Ophthalmology at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2011. In 2015, she earned her specialist title following rigorous surgical training.
Dr. Ebcim has participated in numerous national and international congresses, workshops, and advanced surgical trainings. She holds a prestigious certificate from the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) for successfully passing the Basic Science Examination in 2013. In 2025, she further solidified her expertise by earning the European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO) Diploma—one of the most respected certifications in the field.
Her clinical focus includes upper and lower eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, endoscopic brow and midface lifts, smart lens implants, and FDA-approved non-surgical skin tightening using the Thermage FLX system. She also pioneered the use of Fotona SP Dynamis technology for dry eye treatment in Turkey.
Currently practicing in her private clinic in Istanbul’s Caddebostan district since 2022, Dr. Ebcim offers scientifically grounded, ethically driven care, combining the latest technologies in oculoplastic and aesthetic medicine. She speaks advanced English and is a mother of two.
