Dr. Halim İş was admitted to Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and graduated in 2009 after completing his six-year medical education.

In 2009, he briefly worked as a research assistant in the Department of Physiology at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. In 2010, he completed a short period of compulsory service in Iğdır.

In April 2010, he began his residency in the ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Department at Taksim Training and Research Hospital, where he worked between 2010 and 2014. During his residency, in addition to intensive ENT training and surgical experience, he also received comprehensive training in emergency surgical procedures in the Emergency Department.

In January 2015, he completed approximately 15 months of compulsory service at Erciş State Hospital and continued working at the same hospital for an additional three years. In recognition of his valuable contributions to the region, he was awarded a certificate of achievement by the District Governorship.

In 2019, he left Erciş and started working at Darıca Farabi Training and Research Hospital in the ENT Department.

During the global COVID-19 pandemic at the end of 2019, he worked with great dedication in all frontline areas for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

As of June 2022, he has been providing medical services at his private clinic located on Bağdat Avenue in Kadıköy, Istanbul. He is married to Dr. Seval Develi İş and is the father of a daughter named İdil.
